The Classic Grilled Cheese

Nothing compares to a cheesy, crunchy, grilled cheese. Try this one with two kinds of cheese layered on buttery French bread.

Preparation
  1. Heat a medium cast iron skillet or similar over medium-low heat for 2 minutes while assembling the sandwich.
  2. Butter each slice of bread on one side, arranging butter side down on cutting board.
  3. Place cheese on one slice and top with the remaining slice.
  4. Transfer the sandwich to the pan and cook over medium-low heat for 3 minutes per side or until bread is golden brown and cheese has melted. Cut and serve.
