Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato & Avocado

The classic BLT gets a twist with the addition of avocado and tarragon mayo.

Ingredients
  • 2 slices La Brea Bakery French Loaf, cut ¼-inch thick
  • 1 tablespoon mayonaise.
  • 1 teaspoon fresh tarragon, chopped
  • Salt
  • 2 butter lettuce leaves
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 2 slices bacon, cooked
  • ½ avocado, sliced
Preparation

1. Place toasted bread slices on a flat surface.

2. Mix the mayonnaise with chopped tarragon and a pinch of salt to make dressing.

3. Spread dressing on both sides of bread. 

4. To build the sandwich, start with lettuce, add tomato and bacon, and top with sliced avocado. Put the remaining slice of bread on top and serve.
