Breakfast Sandwich with Maple Bacon Glaze
Ingredients
Preparation
  1. Toast Ciabatta roll.
  2. Saute shallots in butter until soft. 
  3. Roughly chop one piece of bacon and add to shallots in pan. Add maple syrup, some water, and combine to coat.
  4. Spoon mixture over the top half of the Ciabatta roll and brush to evenly cover the surface. Set aside.
  5. Set a pan over medium heat, add butter and cook the egg sunny side up.
  6. To make the sandwich, add cheese to the bottom bun, then top with arugula and bacon. Place cooked egg on top and finish with top Ciabatta bun. Serve.
