Ingredients
- 1 La Brea Bakery Take & Bake Ciabatta Roll
- 1 teaspoon shallot, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 3 slices bacon, fully cooked
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 egg
- 1 slice cheddar cheese
- ¼ cup arugula
Preparation
- Toast Ciabatta roll.
- Saute shallots in butter until soft.
- Roughly chop one piece of bacon and add to shallots in pan. Add maple syrup, some water, and combine to coat.
- Spoon mixture over the top half of the Ciabatta roll and brush to evenly cover the surface. Set aside.
- Set a pan over medium heat, add butter and cook the egg sunny side up.
- To make the sandwich, add cheese to the bottom bun, then top with arugula and bacon. Place cooked egg on top and finish with top Ciabatta bun. Serve.
