Honey Toast Recipe with Fresh Ricotta and Pistachios

This easy and tasty grilled sourdough appetizer can be enjoyed by two or used as a party starter by expanding the recipe ingredient amounts.

Ingredients
  • 4 slices La Brea Bakery Sourdough Baguette (approx. ½ inch thick), grilled lightly
  • 8 ounces fresh ricotta cheese, drained
  • ½ cup pistachios, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
Preparation
  1. Place grilled bread on a flat surface.  
  2. Evenly divide and spread ricotta on each piece of bread. 
  3. Top with pistachios and drizzle with honey. 
  4. Finish with a pinch of salt and lemon zest.
