Three Cheese Semolina Stuffing Cubes

Add a hint of cheese to your next batch of stuffing during the holidays. Guests are sure to ask for the recipe.

Ingredients
  • 12 cups La Brea Bakery Three Cheese Semolina Loaf, cut into cubes

  • ⅔ cups butter

  • 2 small onions, diced

  • 4 ribs celery, diced

  • ½ teaspoon ground sage

  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley

  • 3 cups chicken broth

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Preparation
  1. Heat oven to 350°F.
  2. Melt butter in a large pan over medium heat. Add onion, celery, and sage. Cook over medium-low until tender (do not brown), about 10 to 12 minutes.
  3. Place bread cubes in a large bowl. Add vegetable mixture and parsley. Pour broth over top until cubes are moist (but not soggy) and gently toss. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Place mixture in an oven-proof serving dish, dot with additional butter, and cover. Bake for 35 minutes, uncover, and bake for an additional 10 minutes. Serve warm.
