Ingredients
- 2 slices La Brea Bakery Three Cheese Semolina Loaf
- 2 slices bacon
- ½ tablespoon butter
- 1 slice aged cheddar cheese
- 1 egg
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Preparation
- Cook bacon in a pan to your preference. Set aside.
- Cut a hole in the middle of one of the bread slices. Lightly butter the two slices and place in pan on low-medium heat to toast with butter side down, flipping when golden brown.
- While still in the pan, place cheese on one slice of the now-toasted bread and crack the egg into the hole of the other slice. Cover and let cook for 3 to 5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- To assemble, add bacon and press the sandwich together. Enjoy!
