Ingredients
- 1 La Brea Bakery pretzel bun, sliced lengthwise
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tbsp milk
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 slices country ham
- 1 tbsp chopped flat-leaf parsley
Preparation
In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk (if using), salt, and black pepper until well combined.
Next, heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat and add butter. Pour in the egg mixture, tilting the pan to spread evenly. Let cook undisturbed for about 1-2 minutes, until the edges start to set. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the omelette. Fold the omelette in half and cook for another 1-2 minutes, until the cheese melts.Remove. Add the ham and cook 1 minute per side to warm and slightly brown.
Place the cooked omelette in the pretzel bun and top with the slices of country ham. Garnish with parsley and serve with fruit.
