An easy and classic flavor combo of turkey and swiss on our fan-favorite Three Cheese Semolina Loaf.
Ingredients
- 4 slices La Brea Bakery Three Cheese Semolina Loaf
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 4 tablespoons pesto
- 8 slices Swiss cheese, thick-sliced
- 8 slices turkey, thin-sliced
Preparation
- Arrange slices of bread on flat surface in 2 rows of 2. Butter each slice of bread on one side and lay the bread butter side down.
- Spread pesto on each slice.
- Add to each, one slice of cheese, 2 slices of turkey, and top with the remaining slice of cheese.
- Heat a large pan over medium-high heat for 2 minutes.
- Cook sandwiches until cheese has just begun to melt and bread is golden brown.
- Turn sandwiches, pressing each firmly with a spatula to help brown.
- Cook uncovered until the bottom is golden brown, about 1 minute. Serve warm.
