Baked Brie Grilled Cheese Sandwich Recipe

Ingredients
  • 8 slices La Brea Bakery French Loaf
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • ¼ cup honey-Dijon mustard
  • ½ pound brie cheese, thinly sliced
  • 1 Granny Smith apple, skin-on, cored, thinly sliced
Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 200° F.
  2. Arrange the bread slices in pairs on a cutting board.
  3. Brush one side of each slice with butter.
  4. Turn the bread over and slather the other side with honey-Dijon mustard.
  5. Divide the cheese and apple slices between 4 slices of bread in even layers. Top with the remaining bread, mustard-side down.
  6. Heat a large non-stick pan over medium heat.
  7. Cook the sandwiches in batches until golden brown on both sides, about 2 to 4 minutes per side.
